I fused wide and thin glass stringers and frit pieces onto glass sheet, maintaining a small level of relief. The chemical reaction between the two layers of glass created the darker lines around the edges of the pieces on top. After I fused the piece, I etched the surface and added the stained driftwood handle. It is about 13″ in diameter.
